GREENHOUSE RECORDINGS is a homegrown underground House music label founded in Los Angeles in 2003 by DJ/Producer Andrew Macari. Since its first release in January 2004, it quickly earned a reputation for quality amongst discerning afficianados in the House music underground.

From the start, the aim of the label was to release a wide range of House music (deep to downtempo to jackin' Chicago-styles) produced by both established and up-and-coming artists. Greenhouse has stayed true to this commitment and continues to keep an open-mind (and open-ears) in its search for top-quality tunes. This has seen multiple releases from "veteran" Greenhouse artists, as well as an ever-growing crop of new talent. The latter group -- the new school producers -- continues to delight and surprise with the range and depth of talent and style from across the globe.

Because of the overwhelming number of demos being submitted to the label, the latest news from Andrew Macari is the creation of a new deeper sublabel, GREENHOUSE SOUL. The new label will make its debut with a must-have sampler of various artists and the long-awaited return of the DEEP SOUTH PLAYAZ.

With GREENHOUSE SOUL fully committed to deeper/soulful/downtempo, and the original GREENHOUSE RECORDINGS to the jacking style it has become known for, Greenhouse aims to double your pleasure and actively support the wide spectrum of the true underground House sound.
