Release Date: 8 Feb 2007
Following the success of their recent releases on ROBSOUL, BLACK CRACK, DEEP PRESSING and PATSADA, and the recent licence of "Melting" to Mark Farina's "Sessions" mixed CD for Ministry Of Sound, it is a pleasure to welcome the LOOPITY GOOFS from Ontario, Canada to GREENHOUSE RECORDINGS.
This extremely solid three-track outing turns up the heat on their previous releases. Their ability to combine a diverse spectrum of styles, feels and genres within House music has evolved into a sound that is truly their own and is sure to earn them the respect of there peers.
The boys get the ep started with Gotta Move It, a chunky groover featuring live vocal elements from Zoe Georgas , driving bass, solid beats and percussion, subtle pads and tech-y stabs, spacey sound FX and plenty of bleeps. A real jacker!
Shake It Up is a funky head-nodding track. It features tasty Rhodes licks and stabs, deep bass, sound FX, punchy beats and cool vocal snippets running throughout the track. Sure to keep you shaking it.
The ep is rounded off with This Time, a bleepy dark funkster featuring live sax elements from Dennis Passley. Skippy beats, deep bass, cool vocal elements and plenty of filters swirling through out the track. Another dance floor gem!
